Want to know one of the things that helped me during my weight loss journey?
I set daily goals for myself.
They can be as simple as going the whole day drinking nothing but water, going for a 10 min walk, saying no to seconds at dinner, tackling a basket of laundry that needs to be folded. Whatever goals you want to set for yourself.. There is no right or wrong.
Still feel overwhelmed about goal setting? Here is an example of what some of my goals looked liked in the very beginning of my journey
- Get out of bed this week. Do my hair and make up this week. Go outside for at least 15 min this week. Wash the dishes this week so my husband doesn't have to. Take my depression medication on schedule all week. Journal my feelings everyday. Walk 3 times this week. Set a timer and eat every 3 hours. Log everything I eat this week. -
See? Not as hard as you thought.
Each day write those goals down, and draw a line through them once completed.
You will go to bed feeling like you accomplished something great during your day. Keep making daily goals.. And watch the newer better you transform before your eyes.
You can do this everyone. It all starts the moment you decide enough is enough & you are ready to do whatever it takes to make change happen.
